About Me
I grew up at the floor of the Santa Monica Mountains in LA County, went to university in the small, tech-forward beach town of Santa Cruz, and kept moving up the coast to Seattle, the city that finally felt "right," for the better part of my 20's. All that nature instilled an appreciation of math and art that feels intrinsic to my identity.

I met my now-wife, Crystal in Seattle. She followed me to Berkeley for work, and I followed her back to Los Angeles for school during the pandemic. I bought the tiniest house on the planet and we got married a few years ago.

Crystal spent the last several years at Burrell Medical School in beautiful New Mexico, and the two of us ran all over the state along the way. Our "base" has always been Southern California, though, and we're finally back in LA, savoring our time near loved ones. I've mainly been keeping busy with coding, climbing, and clay.

When I'm not doing any of those, I'm obsessing over my mascot of a dog, Auggie, designing stupid shirts for my friends, or trying to keep my cacti alive.
